Only one dog left the Queen's kennel and became available to other breeders. This dog was called Windsor Quiz at Ermyn. Ermyn Kennel is owned by a Welsh breeding couple, Mary and Jeff Davies. The Davieses received Quiz in lieu of stud fee from the Queen.
The founding dog of our kennel, Andvol Terrae Filius aka Lara, is a descendant of this dog, of which we are very proud.
It's a very distant lineage, but it's nice to think that Lara's ancestors include a dog born in the Queen's castle.
